Understanding Trigger Points to Overcome Pain
This is an introduction to comprehensive Trigger Point Therapy and is typically an 8 hour CE workshop and is usually open to the general public.
It can be expanded to 16 hours (2 days) by arrangement to allow more time for applied methods.
It covers basic information on myofascial trigger points and how they play a role in acute and chronic pain issues. It’s our most popular workshop for those in the fitness or rehab profession, who have little or no training in Trigger Point Therapy methods.
Trigger points will affect muscles in the sedentary or athletic body and can cause a considerable amount of long term misery if you are unfamiliar with their behavior and how to remove them.
This workshop is not designed nor intended to make you a trigger point expert. The objective here is to focus some light on myofascial pain and a type of bodywork that has been overlooked and misunderstood for far too long, especially in the fitness arena.
Trigger points and Trigger Point Bodywork, should be considered and recommended as an option for the remedial treatment of soft-tissue pain or physical performance issues. And in my opinion should also be a part of ALL physical rehabilitation protocol.

No Prerequisite – This workshop is open to anyone interested in myofascial trigger points; however, it is advisable to have some knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
